Yamaha has launched the naked Fazer 25 in India with a price tag of Rs 1,29,335 (ex-showroom, Delhi). it has aggressive look and adds around 6 kg more weight, taking the total kerb weight to 154 kg. Besides, it uses the same 249cc, single cylinder, air-cooled ‘BLUE CORE TECHNOLOGY’ engine with oil cooling.
In terms of power, the engine produces 20.6bhp at 8,000rpm against 20Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm.The new Fazer 25 has been rolled out in two dual-tone colour options-Soulful Cyan (Grey & Blue) and Rythmic Red (Red & Gold)

In terms of transmitting power to the tyres, the new Yamaha Fazer 25 gets a conventional five-speed unit. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear.
The bike has aggressive look, engine is from its naked sibling FZ25. With the additional fairing, the bike not only gets aggressive look but its kerb weight is 148kg, though it does not have much effect on the bike which is 43 kmpl (under standard conditions).
