Mahindra Gusto 125, has been launched in India with the pricetag of Rs. 48,410 (ex-showroom, delhi). it is available in two different variants, DX and VX. The Gusto 125 looks not that different from its regular model. Though, there might be significant mechanical updates made to the scooter that makes it more powerful and enjoyable to ride.
Mahindra Gusto 125 is powered by 125cc air-cooled engine that is paired to a CVT gearbox.
This power mill can generate a maximum power of 8.6bhp at 7000 rpm and 10Nm of peak torque at 5500 rpm.
This also makes it as powerful as the Activa that offers 8.6 bhp ad 10.12 Nm of torque.
On the other hand, the regular Gusto model is powered by a 109.6cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that can generate a maximum power of 8bhp at 7,500rpm and 9Nm of torque at 5,500rpm.
The engine is mated to CVT gearbox, which returns mileage( ARAI certified ) of 63kmpl.
The new Mahindra Gusto 125cc model looks similar to the regular model but different from mechanical perspective.
The scooter featuring halogen lamp with LED elements,find-me lamps, height adjustable seat remote flip key, easy front kick, guide lamp and a quick storage compartment. it has 12-inch wheels fitted with tubeless tyres, high ground clearance, wide wheelbase and perfect suspension system, the scooter is claimed to offer best in class ride quality, outstanding performance, stability and safety.
The scooter is offered in four different color options – Orange Rush, Monarch Black, Bolt White and Regal Red.
