Mahindra Two Wheelers Limited, India is a Joint Group venture, owned by M&M Limited which manufactures scooters and motorcycles. The Group entered into Indian two wheeler market in 2008 when Mahindra Two Wheelers was founded, after M&M acquired business resources of Kinetic Motor Company Limited.
Mahindra two Wheelers has a manufacturing plant at Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh, where 1500 workers are working. The two wheeler manufacturer also has a research and development center located at Chinchwad, Pune well established with necessary design & development facilities right from renderings to prototype manufacturing and testing. Mahindra Two Wheelers has a strong vendor network spread across India with more than 400 dealers. In India, Mahindra Two Wheelers manufactured five different models of powerful automatic scooters, In 125cc segment scooters like Flyte, Duro DZ and Rodeo RZ. In lower capacity engines, They also manufactures the 70cc Kine and in 110cc segment Mahindra Gusto and in 100cc segment motorcycles like the Mahindra Pantero & Mahindra Centuro variants including the Centuro Rockstar & Centuro N1. Mahindra Two Wheelers has joined hands with Taiwan’s Sanyang Industry Company to develop its scooter portfolio and with Italy-based Engines Engineering for research & product design.
