Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the Cliq at Rs 42,400 (Ex-showroom, Delhi). The Cliq is a utility scooter based on the Honda Navi. Being a scooter, the Cliq gets a wider front apron, wider floorboard and an underseat storage bin which has a USB charger built into it. The bike gets block tread tyres and Combi brake system. The Cliq is packed with 109.19cc engine that makes 8.11Ps @ 7000rpm and 8.94Nm of torque @ 5500rpm. The Engine is BS-4 compliant and comes mated to a CVT automatic transmission. The Cliq is one of the most affordable scooters available in the market.

The bike has kerb weight of 102kg and 10-inch wheels, initial performance is sprightly. The Cliq gets a CVT transmission which along with the engine give it a company claimed top speed of 83kmph. The Cliq is available in four colour options – red, black, blue and grey. The seat height is 743mm. The Fuel tank capacity has capacity of 3.5 litres.
The scooter carries its design from one the Navi based concepts showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo. It is more practical though, aimed at those looking for a more utility alternative. It gets a wider floorboard to store luggage. There is a small storage bin under the rear seat that comes with a USB charging point. You can also opt for the optional rear luggage rack if you want to.
The Cliq comes with 130mm drum brakes. Combi brake system is standard. The tyres get a new aggressive block tread pattern that should allow it good traction on rough rural roads. The suspension is utilitarian with a linked-type front and a hydraulic damper at the back.
