Bajaj Auto unveiled a 150cc bike Bajaj V15, which forged from metal from India's first plane carrying warship INS Vikrant. It is inspired by retro modern looks and it comes with some of the most attractive features, like a front disc brake, removable rear seat cowl, stylish alloy wheels, DTS-i engine and clear instrumental panel. It is quite affordable commuter for common man of india.
Bajaj V15 is an all-new 149.5 cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder DTS-i engine that gives output of 12 bhp at 7,500 rpm and a torque output of 13 Nm at 5,500 rpm. The engine is equipped with a 5-speed gear box and transmission that is also used in the discover series of motorcycles.
Its 149.5 cc engine is estimated to deliver a decent fuel economy of 75 Kmpl on highway and 45 – 55 Kmpl in city in a litre. It has fuel capacity of 13 litre.
The bike comes equipped 149.5 cc with telescopic forks at the front and gas filled twin spring loaded hydraulic suspension. It has a wheelbase of 1315 mm that means that it makes stable on high speeds. It has 165 mm ground clearance will make it gives comfort ride when travelling on slushy surfaces. Its high raised wide handlebar added to make it confident riding experience.
